In case the traffic accident occurred on a state road and in case the driver believes that Hrvatske ceste d.o.o. is responsible for the traffic accident, the procedure is as follows:
1. Obtain the following documentation:
- police investigation report (with photos, if you can get them from the police together with a sketch of the traffic accident scene)
- damage report (you can get it from your insurance company)
- the offer of vehicle repair services based on the damage report. An offer is not required if the amount of damage is already stated on the report.
- vehicle repair invoice if you repaired the vehicle (in this case, no offer is required)
- photographs of vehicle damage
2. Send a request (letter) for compensation to Hrvatske ceste d.o.o. by post to: Vončinina ulica 3, 10000 Zagreb or by e-mail to: javnost@hrvatske-ceste.hr. In the request, provide your personal information and contact details and briefly describe how the traffic accident occurred and why you consider Hrvatske ceste d.o.o. responsible. Additionally, attach the above-mentioned documentation to the request.
